Tradition and quality
The Zvolen region has been the most developed dairy area for more than 200 years - not only within the Slovak republic, but also within former Czechoslovakia. Entrepreneurs of Slovak origin (Vagač, Molec) created the industrial character of this branch from 1787 (Detva) or 1797 (Zvolenská Slatina). The very first industrial dairy factories founded directly in Zvolen are related to familiar names such as Teodor Vallo (the inventor of the present cottage cheese - bryndza) and Ignác Wittmann.Almost all kinds of dairy products of high-quality were produced in Zvolen - market milk, butter, cottage cheese, acidic dairy products, yoghurts, natural cheeses and processed cheese ; and the production concerned not only domestic market, but foreign markets as well. Nowadays, our company starts is specilized mostly in the production of fermented milk products, whereas the core production remains the yoghurts' production.
Our factory is situated in the centre of Zvolen, and despite the little flexibility of expansion of working area, the company is very well organized. The increase of the production capacities and the growing volume of production and sales make us think every day how to improve the organization of different departments such as material packaging stock, transport inside the factory and the production department itself. So everyone faces challenges every day and only together we are able to overcome them and to strengthen the team of employees, which are centered on one thing - high-quality product.
During the first three years of SENOBLE activity in Zvolen, the company has undergone through some quite complicated investment project. The first stage of SENOBLE company’s entry into the Slovak factory was to focus on production and technology sector and on the increase of production. We turned step by step our investments on non-production sectors, such as stock capacities enlargement. Zvolen factory is now able to produce 22 000 tons of products anually. SENOBLE Central Europe, s.r.o. is the largerst producer of yoghurts in Slovakia.
The production of products for Slovak market, which are known under the famous label Zvolenský, represents around 40% of the total production. A large part of remaining production is exported abroad : especially to Spain and France, and more recently to Hungary. Our goal is to fulfill the expectations of all customers. Beside his classic requirements, every customer has got some special wishes : we are here to satisfy each customer’s and client‘s needs.
The most important condition for meeting the requirements of our customers is the quality of our products in Slovakia and on foreign market as well. This condition is the principal aim of SENOBLE Central Europe, s.r.o. as well as of all the other subsidiaries of SENOBLE group.
To be able to achieve this aim, it is necessary to ensure the strict respect of everyday hygiene of our employees, the cleanliness and the most possible sterility of materials, areas and filling lines. This is the reason why our employees are permanently improving themselves in the field of hygiene and sanitation, and last but not least, in the field of production and customer service.
Regarding environment and energies, we are doing our best to use all these sources with consideration. Water, gas and electric energy are used and monitored depending upon the quantity produced, and they are evaluated on a daily basis.
Every employee has bern adhering and respecting safety rules, instructions and internal directives, so that work safety is observed and health condition of our coemployees and employees in the company is not endangered.
Each employee (starting with the operator at the milk entry and ending with operators at expedition sector), has been working with the respect for valuable input material - milk. One of the most important targets of the company is to decrease the loss of the input material, additional substances and packaging material. This aim covers not only the financial side, but also the „ethic“ side of the production. Each litre of milk, as a natural material, conceals the work of the entire chain of employees outside of the factory.
